I’ve been very busy lately with prep school and life in general. Doesn’t mean I stopped thinking about A&A and the games I’m running with it.
Previously, you’ve seen some of the house rules and custom content I’ve created for the game and today I’d like to share with you my future plans for new classes:
- The Guardian – contrary to how… positive it sounds, it could spin in the same ways a Knight does, being dire and dangerous. The Guardian’s primary ability is to Shield another. This allows him to become the target of attacks instead of an adjacent ally. If a Guardian has another Guardian to either of his sides, they increase their AC mutually by +2. The total bonus is +4 with a Guardian on each side.
No idea what he identifies, or what kind of secondary abilities he has, nor what his companions will be. WIP here. - The Berserker – a sort of complementary class to the Savage. The Berserker, like the savage, is a front line combatant with a mean streak and high damage output. His primary ability is to Rage. While doing so, for a length equal to his level, he gains his strength bonus again to attacks as well as adds his constitution bonus.
Once more, no idea what he identifies, nor anything else about him. - The Battlemage – as the name implies, the Battlemage is a magical class geared specifically for combat. Out of all magical classes, he’s the only one with a relatively large array of abilities beyond spellcasting. He ignores armor, to a degree; has fewer general spell slots but a wealth of them dedicated to a list of spells; capable of empowering damaging spells so that they do more damage.
Companions will be Novice Battlemages, which will work in ways similar to the Sorcerer’s Neophytes. No idea about the rest of him.
I may have had more previously, but they slip my mind. When I get some moments’ rest, if at all, I’ll start work on these.
I would like to present a small poll – which one would you like to see written out first?
